Head to Head: 2026 Santa Cruz Tallboy vs. 2020 Norco Optic
Probably, because it's a used bike with a cut down steerer.

4 Things We Learned from the Loudenvielle DH World Cup
@suspended-flesh: I know they all look the same, but it was a different bike. And as people pointed out, it's not only the bike, it's the whole team setup.

First Ride: The 2026 Santa Cruz Tallboy Has Been Fully Reinvented, But Remains a Joy
@BenPea: I recon people buy SCs for multiple reasons. One of which being the warranty.
Another one is probably the ride feel, and I guess it's just not for everyone )

It's an interesting take.
I'm on my fourth SC bike (Bronson v4, I owned another Bronson, a 5010, and a Nomad). I also have 4 other bikes, all from different brands.
And the VPP was never a part of the SC appeal to me. It was the way their bikes where engineered, their QC and their warranty - all that makes SC bikes so easy to live with.

I don't think they do reverse really. It's a downhill bike, the upper fork crown makes cable tourism if not impossible, at least very hard to implement.
They looks good but they don't deserve the +1 in that regard...

Renthal's New DHC Pedals Have a Massive Platform and a Familiar Clip-In Mechanism
UPDATE: I got contacted by Ian from Renthal after posting here and I got my bars replaced in just a few day.
So I have to say, their service is actually pretty good.
It just looks like the contact/warranty form on their website either is not working or nobody is looking into the messages from it.
