I guess the molds could be made of some cheaper prototyping material like foam or plastics since the production volume is really low. Cant imagine they would splurge on stainless or aluminium. Might even be 3D printed. Labor cost of doing the layup and finishing is still pretty big though I imagine.

The word means the same in both languages of course but in Norwegian the term "å satan" is more equivalent to "Oh shit!" or "god damn!".

These guys make "eebing" look very fun and Matt Roe just kills it on any bike it seems. I think I will eventually get one when im 40 and the pace of development slows down a bit and they reach maturity. If I buy one now its almost completely obsolete compared to newer models after 2 years and I usually like to keep my bikes for longer than that.

They seem to realize its a niche idea or at least dont have enough faith in it to fund it themselves. So they offset the risk by gauging the publics interest in the product and making the consumer pay for production up front.

Tough call between Brage and Brandon for me. I can see how a "normie" mtb crowd would rate Brages riding as more spectacular because everything is rowdy and somewhat out of control. The technical level of Brandons riding is higher and I think I enjoyed it more because of the song choice. The problem he has though is that he makes it all look too easy and effortless. A normal mountainbiker without a clue of even how to catch some air probably wouldnt recognize the risks and difficulties involved because of this I think. EDIT: Brandons video was expected. Brages was surprising and creative and those are qualities that should be rewarded (and I think it will be in the peoples vote).

You dont think team riders are on a special blend or prototype tires. I havent tried Bontragers in recent years so they might be good now for all I know.
