Editors' Picks: Our Top Clipless MTB Shoes for 2026
For the last 10 years I rode with the Specialized 2FO cliplite (the older model). They have been my favorite shoe of all time, so much so that I bought a 2nd pair while my 1st pair was still good, just in case they were discontinued. Well my 2nd pair needs to be retired and Spesh doesn't make them anymore. The Fox Union Boa look like the spiritual successor to those, anyone have experience with both shoes?

Stinner Frameworks Launches the Romero: A US-Made Steel & Aluminum Trail or Enduro Bike
T47 seems to be a popular choice for a lot of small steel bike builders. My custom steel hardtail has a T47. I believe the shell is larger and gives more room for tube connections and welding.

Built, Not Bought: Benjamin Amend's Homemade Carbon DH Bike
@hackonwheels: He later took a Fox 40 and machined out the crown to make a 29er fit. Dude was a mad scientist in the best possible way.

After the Storm: A Year Since Helene
Last Fall was the 1st time in over 15 years I didn't make it down to WNC for a riding trip. But I'm heading down in 2 weeks to see friends, ride, visit bike shops, drink beer, eat at restaurants, and help the local economy in whatever small ways I can. I can't wait to ride WNC again!!!

Top Racers Share Their 2025 BC Bike Race Weapon of Choice
My first thought as well. I initially built my Spur frame up with parts lighter than their highest end complete bike and mine was right around 25lbs. Fantastic bike, but a 22lb Spur, especially with Flight Attendant and a Reverb AXS and inserts is not feasible.

Meet Your Maker: Ingenious Tools From Trail Boss USA
My trail building group has purchased 10 sets of trail boss tools over the years and they are all still in use. Those tools have built and maintained countless miles of trails in my local park, great tools, great company.

Wolf Tooth Introduces Dedicated Clik Valve Pumps
I really like this idea, but I personally have 6 bikes plus 3 more for my wife and kids. So I have a mix of presta and schaeder, and my current floor pump works with all of them. If I converted just a few of my bikes, I'd need to get a second floor pump to convert to a Clik head.
