The average rider can get the stock rhythm damper to perform as good if not better than the Grip 2. The grip 2 gives you abase setup based on weight and then you have hundreds of combinations that then need to be tweeked according to weight and trail. If you do not set it up correctly, you can get it to perform real bad. The rhythm just dumbs down the setup and gives you what the average rider uses. Most people run the HSC totally open or one click closed and the LSC about the same or a few clicks closed. So the grip 2 is not an upgrade for the average person. It's just more tunability. The coil and the secus will give you a much better feel than the grip 2.
