Round Up: All the Super-Short MTB Stems You Can Actually Buy
Firmly in the “don’t knock it till you’ve tried it camp” Been in love with HIGH bars for a few years now…. I’ve got a Rulezman 15mm on my XL Ripmo…. Rode it for a few months in the forward position and it’s great/ i have roughly one month of riding it reversed and i might like it even more. I feel like it’s giving me more confidence and i feel like i have got better front wheel control. I’ve even managed to pull of some stoopid shit in slow techy climbs that is somehow related to the stem. I was able to somehow put my front wheel exactly where i wanted it in stoopid ways multiple times and managed to pull off a tech climb that i absolutely know would not’ve happened with a traditional stem. So basically i’m stoked on tall barz and a reversed 15mm stem right now. I’m also digging 165 cranks, and wanting to experiment with 155’s / looking forward to trying long chainstays. Love what some oems are doing with replaceable dropouts in order to experiment

Review: Berd Hawk 30 Gold Wheels – Ultra-Light and Subtly Forgiving
@Caddz: i’m a clyde, riding black tech trails, these spokes are more durable in these situations than traditional spokes. Ive been riding Berds for maybe 5 years… the berd spoke weakness is loosing tension and also dirt getting between the spokes where they overlap and abrasion happening. You don’t have to be scared… these spokes are WAY stronger than regular spokes….

First Ride: OneUp Launches $599 Aluminum Wheelset
DT 350 with 36t ratchet is the only hub i’ve yet to destroy. After reading all the comments i was surprised to hear some have destroyed theirs. I see one person had troubles with the 54t but less problems with the 36t. I see some saying they have had troubles with ratchet rings but did not specify if they were old OG ratchet style or the New DEGDF style? Anyone roaching DEG hubs?

First Ride: Rossignol's After Hours eMTB is Welded By Robots and Designed for Durability
I wish that the patent for 4 bar horst was still in effect…. Just talking out my a$$…. But seriously, anyone else feeling me here? I can’t tell you how much i appreciate innovation in suspension design these days. Note: Dave Weagle just started a YouTube channel, head over there and support his goofy a$$. Dave’s designs are a breath of fresh air. Seeiously, anyone ever ride a poor performing weagle bike?!?!? I’m personally looking forward to trying the RMU/weagle design and the Yeti 6 bar stuff that apparently everyone is gushing over.
