$1050 CADWhen you need a bike to ride the DH trails and finesse the flow trails, but wouldn't mind riding the dirt jump park on the same nimble bike as well? Right here baby, 2010 Specialized SX. Ever heard the name Darren Berrecloth? This frame was a competition favourite for the now legend and nothing short of one the best slopestyle frames around at the time of production. Personally i have found this bike to be a very fun trail bike, quick corners and easy airs makes finding flow in a trail a little easier and a lot more fun. I have two different forks for this bike which make it capable of handling a wide spectrum of terrain with a quick fork swap. I also have had some minty sessions at the dirt jumps with this treat of a bike. It does have some scuffs and scratches, but if your bike doesn't have any of those, are you even having fun?
Specs:
Wheels - dual wall Single Track by Sun Rims
Fork - 160mm Fox Van 36 preload/rebound spring
Rear Suspension - Fox Float RP23 custom tuned for this frame from the factory
2nd Fork - 125mm Rockshox RCT single air/compression adjustment
Brakes - Avid Elixer 3's Powered By Sram
Rotors - 160 mm Sram front/rear
Shifter - Sram x5 7 speed
Derailleur - Sram x7
Cranks - Truvativ Blaze (sturdy as they come)
Chainguide - Truvativ with the sealed bearing (new)
Seat - WTB
Seat Clamp - Straitline Components (made in Canada Eh)
Stem - Syncros 50mm
Bars - ODI Flight Control (because airtime)
Headset -FSA/Syncros bottom half is different to support the tapered steer tube of the Fox fork, the Rockshox is a straight steer tube.
If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask, i live 50 minutes north east of calgary but travel to the city often, would be able to meet up if you're serious, and maybe if you just want to take a look as well. Text/Imessage. Bike is still available if ad is still up.. Also if you don't want the second fork the bike is yours for 950$
Cheers, Mitchell
