XCC Race Report: British XC National Series Round 3 Matterley Basin
As the organiser, and having ridden my bike around the MXGP course wondering the same thing, it wouldn’t work at all. Bikes would be clogging up mega quickly, and there’s no real difficulty or fun to be had over there apart from climbing very steeply on a bad surface for bicycles just to end up coming back down the same bad surface for bicycles. Nice idea, but it’s not worth the trip over to it.

$1750 GBPNeed to sell my 2015 Specialized Enduro Expert 29, bike is very well looked after, and doesn't get ridden enough, has probably been out 6 times in the last 18months. Has had helitape on top-tube and seat-tube from new.
It's Carbon frame with Roval Traverse Fattie wheels, Sram X01 and Guide RS Brakes (200/180, and comes with spare pairs of pads as I don't need them) Carbon Sram crankset with Absolute Black Oval Ring and a MRP Amg guide, Pike RC fork and Monarch Plus Debonair shock (with offset bush to slacken off by 0.5deg.)

Stan’s NoTubes Introduces Crest CB7 and Arch CB7 Rims and Wheelsets
Your version of "XC build" is clearly very different to mine. The joy of having choice is that you can choose to put Flows on your XC bike and I can choose to build Crest CB7 on 240s and enjoy a stiff and super light wheelset.

Pinkbike Poll: Convertible Full-Face Helmets - Yea or Nay?
So far the only one I see being a useable option is the giro switchblade, as it seems to actually be sturdy enough in its full face guise. However I think it would get pretty warm as a half lid so still not sure they've nailed it...

Fox's Featherweight 32 Step-Cast Fork - First Look
Yea because a pike and a "lightweight XC Race fork" are the same thing right... Loads of 90/100/110mm Pikes out there (although probably possible not a great idea)

Pinkbike Poll: Water Bottles, Yea or Nay?
So I manage to do 3-4hr rides on both my bikes (Epic and Enduro) without a pack, I carry 1 or 2 tubes (depends on length of ride) 2or3 25g C02 canisters, patches, old bit of road tyre and a spare mech hanger and 2x720ml bottles, both bikes have Swat multi tools and Swat top cap chain tool with the correct speed link stored in it. If it really is a long ride I can mount a 3rd bottle to the epic on the Seatpost, but I've gotta be aiming to be out without any opportunity for a refil for 5hrs to do that. Then I still have pockets in a XC Jersey or in the Swat bibshorts if I'm on the Enduro, in these I carry food and essentials (money/keys/phone) sometimes if it's a really long or remote ride I take a pump too, most of the time these pockets even have room for a gilet or jacket in them too. I genuinely haven't ridden with a pack for 2 years now, and yes I'm lucky both my bikes are well thought out enough to do this, and yes I have bought into the Specialized Swat system, but I wouldn't change it for one second.
