Bike Check: Jenn Jackson's Liv Pique
@continuity: Ah ok - got it. These XTR without Servo Wave levers only come with 2 piston calipers. Actually, SLX 2 piston brakes are equipped with Servo Wave levers. I would suspect that the piston itself is of same volume and design in all Shimano brake levers.

Inside Propain Bikes - From a Chairlift Dream to an International Brand
Cool Company, great bikes, great prizing so far! @robbety thank you for stepping back from forced ICR. Just one minor thing: There is not sufficient clearance for long droppers in the frame! Frame size large needs 30cm to slam a 185 dropper down to the collar. Please please try to avoid the seat post kink on the next Tyee! Cheers, Daniel

Niner Bikes Goes Direct-to-Rider in Europe
Damn - this RKT9 RDO is hard on the eye. I won't start talking about geometry here - but these bikes need some serious overhaul imho. Hope they'll make it though cause they are one of the early companies who believed in 29"

Review: Last Glen - An Out-of-the-Ordinary All-Mountain Bike
They were good value since the last model. They upped their prices by 40%. Good lightweight and durable frames but way to short chain stays. Moreover they (Glen/Coal) now come with shorter shocks for the sake of a straight top tube. No thanks.

The Actual Weights of 18 Enduro World Cup Bikes
@pasteque51: Just weigh it on different balances some time. Maybe that'll give some interesting results. Whatever. It's a real pitty in the first place manufactures dont give accurate weights for their bare frames (each size separate). And even if they give a weight, the do not specify with or without shock or even axle.

This is how I mount every saddle on every MTB I owned since 2003. Nothing wrong with this :-)

Review: 2024 Orbea Rallon - Enduro-er Than Ever
@PaulC290: The Rallon 2019-2021 was a completely different frame. Kinked seat tube, way shorter and steeper and less travel. They added 3cm of reach and slackened the head angle by one degree from 2021 to 2022 model. Since then: No further changes to the frame despite using shocks with more travel. Afaik it is even possible to run 65mm of shock stroke anyways. So stay tuned for the Rallon 2026 ;-)

Review: 2024 Orbea Rallon - Enduro-er Than Ever
Nice Bike. I like the shape, the weight, the geometry. It swallows long droppers despite its short seat tube. Still not standard in 2024. But. I am pretty sure this frame comes from the same mould as the last version. They just added 2.5mm of shock travel to reach 167mm at the rear wheel.
