yeah, you are right, all DHX eyelets are the same size....and the SX runs it without the hardware (or what you are calling 'adapters') but keep in mind that Fox and Manitou are different sizes (eyelets) so a Vivid might be too. ID= inside diameter and OD=outside diameter i forget what the Fox ID is (i wanna say 15mm ID WITHOUT the DU bushing) so i would recommend actually checking a Fox rear shock. also keep in mind this only applies to the 06-08 SX Trail, not the newer ones. in 06-08 they ran the rear shock bolt straight thru the shock WITHOUT any DU bushings....this is only for the rear bolt, the front bolt is standard.

one of the BEST forks ever made.....i found it hard to believe at first, but my 66RC2X blows the doors off my Fox 36.

not sure about the new RS (Vivids)....depends on the ID of the rebound eyelet hole...if its the same as a Fox, then yes.
