UCI & WBD Sports Cancel 2027 Enduro World Cup Season
Hands down the best form of MTB racing to actually participate in. You get to pedal, you get to descend, you get to chat it up and have a good time. What's not to love?!!!

North Performance Supplement Brand Launches with Semenuk, Rheeder, Bruni, MacAskill, Seagrave & More as Co-Owners
The mere fact that they thought sharing this press release with PinkBike was a good idea shows how smart they are. The comments section is exactly as expected. I'm with the rest, bummed to see Bruno, Tahnee and the rest on here.

Ugly or Amazing? Vote on Mountain Biking's Most Polarizing Products
@NWintheUSA: it's just for fun, I don't think anyone really thought too hard about function here.

Kali’s New Kru Full Face Helmet Has a Titanium Chin Bar, & It Looks... Different
People saying that debris and dirt will hit you in the face are missing the fact that this appears to be designed to replace your half-shell, open-face helmet, not your full face. If you hit the ground with an open face helmet, there's definitely nothing stopping dirt or debris hitting you. This will at least theoretically prevent losing teeth, breaking your nose or other structural damage to the face. I think this is a really cool start to something. If they or someone else can figure out how to make it "cool" then it'll be a big win for mountain bikers who want that added protection without the lack of air flow of the full face. I personally am really into the new, breathable, lightweight protection hitting the market. I want the able to ride hard and push myself. Ending up off the bike due to injury sucks for a variety of reasons. Stuff like this allows you to keep riding!

2026 Aletsch Arena Enduro World Cup: Day 1 Highlights
It's interesting that the Enduro World Cup appears to have such a small field with almost no factory teams. Is there basically like ten riders in each gender? Or is that all we get the focus on?

Industry Digest: MIPS Settles $3.2M Infringement Case, Eurobike Announces Future Changes & More
@SJP: Regulating the industry so that they cannot sell these scooters or must have a governor is likely the only solution. But the US isn't likely to do this because it would harm business and we all know human health and safety is nothing compared to healthy profits!

Daysaver Launches Incredible6 Multitool & Pump 40HV Storage System
I second this, I'd be interested for a test of these solutions. In the US the Oneup 100 pump plus edc tool is like $125 so the price is comparable.

Pinkbike Poll: Do You Care What Your Bike Looks Like?
You missed the most important factor I'm willing to sacrifice aesthetics for to a certain extent...price! If performance is similar between two bikes and I can save a chunk of change then I'm willing to compromise. I have a feeling I'm far from alone. With that being said, I still don't want a bike I can't stand to look at.

Commenting on World Cup DH Commentary, Specialized's New Demo, & The DH Bar End Trend
The League of Pigs has better commentating than the World Cup DH. And while that is the top level of pig racing it's saying something!
