Both are great watches. The "race against the clock" causes me legitimate anxiety when a rider is in the green and racing towards the top spot on the podium.

@Starch-Anton: The World Championship vs. the World Cup vs. The World Cup Overall is definitely a bit goofy. At least the World Championship should be the end of the season event or something.

Fully agree on this one. I know the racers have their own goals, but Pauline skipping Brazil (or NA last year) is really doing a disservice to the sport as a whole.

5 Things We Learned from the Araxá XC World Cup 2024
Tracks have undeniably become much more technical in the last 5-10 years. Rarely do you see a race where more than a handful of riders are using hardtails, yet it used to be common to see many riders on hardtails. Dropper posts the same. Easy to say it's a new thing when the modern tracks have features that most average riders would walk or ride around.

One of the best race weekends all around. Both XCC and XCO races were fun affairs with a lot of tight competition up until the end.

Elite XCC Results & Highlights from the Araxá XC World Cup 2024
I've been enjoying these races so far this year, seems like the broadcast is improved from last year and the competition is legit wide open.
If there's one bit of feedback I have it's please stop saying "apologies for the language". In the US it's on Max (blood and sex is their specialty) and I thought Europeans didn't care about that kinda stuff.

[UPDATED] Final Elite XC Results & Overall Standings from the Mairiporã XC World Cup 2024
Max is definitely an upgrade over GCN for the streaming. Seems like they listened to some feedback and the commentary and pre-post show were better. Getting Bart & Avincini involved was a positive as well. Definitely feeling very stoked for the season!
