@the-smith: i mean it is done in other countries. With all the funding american police get, To have a kiddie hauler banned because well funded police systems don't do there job is a blunt tool for an easier job. Also, this doesn't apply to trails. only roads, which makes the bunching together all that more ill-advised

unfortunately this covers ever single e-bike. All classes. It is ridiculous. It also disallows taking your kids to school on a longjohn or long tail ebike. This is a blunt tool for a different problem. All they had to do is limit it to throttle driven 'ebikes' widely construed and relied on previous legislation.

2025 Pinkbike Awards: Athlete of the Year Nominees

I mean the most impactful of the athletes here was Jackson. Not to take away from the achievements of all the other athletes, but their impact will not be on the same level as Jackson's season. He was in a tough and tight fight throughout the year, and persevered at each challenge to become the hands down best in his discipline beyond doubt. I don't think that can be said for any of the other athletes on the list.

this is a great take. Growing up I was glued to recaps of Paris Dakar on Eurosport. The old EWS coverage of enduro was truly reminiscent of that and that was what making it captivating.
