Throwback Thursday: 7 Bikes Turning 20 in 2023
I thought you guys would have featured the Foes Fly instead of the Foes Inferno. I think the Fly came first.

First Look: Instinctiv's M Series Gearbox Trail Bikes
Wow! I love the innovation. This looks like a good step in the right direction for the mountain bike world. I'd love to try one, or buy one. Exactly what I am looking for in my next mountain bike.

Jan 30, 2019Specialized S-Works Roubaix
$1500 CADA well kept Roubaix. I bought it used in 2011, and have ridden it every summer since. A few fondos and lots of group rides. It was upgraded in 2010 to Mavic Ksyrium wheels. Has seat bag, basic computer, and speedplay pedals. Drivetrain replaced last year, still has Dura-Ace shifters, derailleurs, and brakes. S-Works carbon cranks.

Jan 7, 2019Specialized Pro/S-Works enduro
$4500 CADBeautifully maintained Specialized Enduro. Front and rear shocks well maintained and just had a fresh rebuild. I bought this bike in 2017 as a "pro" model, then changed the wheels for the carbon roval wheels and also managed to get a frame that says "S-Works" on it. It is the same frame as the pro, just different paint job. Really loved this bike, just not quite as "XC" as I needed it to be. Here's the parts.
2017 S-Works Enduro frame
Rock Shox Lyric fork
Ohlins rear shock
Roval carbon wheel set 29"
Specialized 125mm dropper post
Avid Guide 4 piston brakes
Sram X0 12sp drivetrain
One up 30t oval chainring
29 X 2.3 Butcher/Slaughter tires
Shimano XT trail pedals
But wait! There's more!
There are 3 sets of brake pads and a shock pump to boot!
Another thing worth mentioning, I also bought a new shock linkage for the rear shock for a 2018 model. This gives the bike a lower BB and slacker head angle. The 2017 link is also included in the package.
There are a couple close up shots of the only bit of damage on the bike. The one on the chain stay by the rear brake is from riding, the other on the top tube is from my new bike leaning over and the seat clamp made contact. All cosmetic.
Update! Handle bars have been upgraded to S-Works carbon bar. Still full length of 790mm.

Here's My Zerode Taniwha Test Bike - Tell Me What You Want to Know
1-Is there electric shifting in the works?
2-Is there a plan for more wheel size options?
3-How many real world miles/kilometers did you put on the bike before you started having gearbox issues?
My next mountain bike will have a gearbox, unless your article has a very good reason not to give it a try.
