Simons.Lab Introduces Aftermarket Fork Damper With Externally Adjustable Compression & Rebound Tunes
@blueninja: I would recommend you to try something other than what the factory pumps out to try and fit every rider weight, riding style, and skill. Compared to the Lift, the grip2 was crap. No mid support and really spikey. I wouldn’t even consider the Lift a high end upgrade either. It’s really pretty basic if you look at it, but the tuning for a specific narrow weight range is key and this new damper looks even better.

Simons.Lab Introduces Aftermarket Fork Damper With Externally Adjustable Compression & Rebound Tunes
I recommend you try it. I bought a brand new Fox 38 Performance for ~$300 and immediately ditched the Grip cartridge for the MRP Lift damper. Way better feeling fork than the crappy Grip2 I had and smashed into a rock.

Continental Expands Gravity Line With 13 New Tire Options
I've heard of the wobbly conti's but they all seemed to be the ones that were made in Taiwan. The German made tires I've seen have all been true. I think the lower end models are made in Taiwan and the higher end (DH and EN case, soft and supersoft) are made in Germany.

Continental Expands Gravity Line With 13 New Tire Options
@Blownoutrides: Good lord 6-8k feet in 3 days? I'm assuming e-bike but maybe I'm wrong. I don't ride e-mtb so I can't speak to their durability in that aspect, but I do think they are the toughest tires currently available. Until someone comes out with some e-bike specific casings and treads, I think Contis are the best it gets. I posted a couple of photos of the tread on my tires that I took this morning to my profile. In the name of science I will run these until they're bald or they blow up. Or until they get too sketchy in the loose and dry ball bearings I ride in.

Continental Expands Gravity Line With 13 New Tire Options
@weeksy59: That's weird. Maxxis used to die for me in like a year if I was lucky enough not blow out a sidewall. I'll take a couple of pictures of the tread that's left on mine right now. I am seriously impressed. But also our definitions of tread life may be way different!

@ryanridessc: soapy water goes a long way with helping get them on the wheel.

Continental Expands Gravity Line With 13 New Tire Options
Never Enduro case. I've been on the same DH Kryptotal supersoft Fr and soft Rr tires for 3 seasons in AZ now and these tires won't effing quit. I thought about going to the Enduro casing in the front to try to save some weight but then I looked into the actual weight difference and it was something like 130g. That's nothing for the amount of protection and sidewall stiffness the DH provides. As an experiment I'm going to keep running my current set tires for as long as possible until they start shedding knobs or the sidewalls blow out. The knobs on the front tire are starting to round off on all corners and the rear still looks like it is in really good shape which is surprising for how rocky it is where I ride. Another testament to the DH case is the amount of times I have dismounted and mounted these tires. Between peeling out dried sealant and swapping to new rims, these tires have been on and off probably 4 times now and the sidewall is still just as stiff. No cords showing either.
