Video: Rob Warner & Matt Jones Tackle Mount Kenya
OK, I get that the MTB community is on the whole white and wealthy enough to afford at least the $1000 version of bikes adjacent to the kinds of bikes reviewed on PB (not to mention able to afford the gear to ride as well as tools to do our own repairs). That's me. I am insanely privileged. The GDP per capita of Kenya, which was $2000 USD in 2019... ... that's exactly what makes me more uncomfortable about this video than anything done by Anthony Bourdain, for example, whose cooking show at least practices some amount self-awareness while showing viewers something they might never experience themselves. I rushed through this video, but I didn't exactly see any signs of self-awareness that these are white, wealthy men whose bikes (not to mention camera crew, helicopter, travel costs, etc.) outstrip the yearly budget of the anti-poaching team who are working to save endangered species... ... videos of people on $5k railing berms in Europe, Canada or the US at least makes some kind of proportional sense...

Video: Hitting Jumps & Drops for the First Time - Full Enduro Episode 4
I sort of don't get how/why people learning to do these things aren't wearing neck braces along with their FF helmet... wait: I don't get why we do this kind of stuff without neck braces. If I put one on my middle-school child, why am I not wearing one, too...?

Video: Sketchy Bike Park Shredding on a BMX
If you grew up in the 1980s, you know you just can't get that "BMX style" with a long bike. I'm 6'1" and ride a medium Banshee Paradox V2 with 800mm high rise bars and plenty of air in my fork and tires. All smiles. (That said, I'm a father who only has time for 60 minute sessions on my favorite jumps. I arrive home after trying my best, sometimes with a few good skate tatoos.)

Video: Whistler Bike Park Gaps - Grom Edition
@MidnightFatty: Good point. Let's see more of what is happening on the prairies... back in 1986-91 we used farm tractors to build doubles, rollers, table-tops, launch ramps for our BMXs... I bet there are inventive people out there - not just groms - doing that today, too... (I am conspiring to build a few here in Tuscaloosa...)

Pinkbike Poll: Will Your Next Bike Have More or Less Suspension Travel?
When I move from my Banshee Paradox V2 onto the V3, I’ll keep the front pogo at 160mm. Since my V2 is over-forked, I bet my HA will only slacken by 1/2 a degree (?)...

Alchemy Launches 29/27.5 Mullet Bike
When will there be a production version of a mulletted AM HT with a 160mm fork? The copy would include something about a nimble bike that "parties harder in the back while keeping the business buttery smooth in front"...
