Pinkbike Poll: Do You Use Your Climb Switch?
If I had one I would. My new bike (2020) works pretty great without one. My old (2016) bike had one and it helped a lot so I used it a ton. Most of my riding is just death marches up logging roads to ride down single track so I actually really like using one, it’s not that often that I would forget to flip it back to open as I would sit there at the top of the trail gasping for air and chugging water laying on the ground for 10 minutes recovering lol

Introducing the 2024 Kona Pro-Development & Ambassador Teams
@ShawMac: Rodger that. I admittedly have not checked recently, but I will say that when the gen2 153 carbon came out it was wildly expensive for the spec it came with. And when the process x came out I thought the same thing. Maybe other brands have caught up to the pricing shittyness and kona might have pulled back?

Introducing the 2024 Kona Pro-Development & Ambassador Teams
The process X is definitely still a really dialed bike it looks like. It is weird tho that they have really not done much past that. They were on top of the world around 2014-2018 it seemed like, I was a huge Kona die hard. But they kind of seemed to just give up on further development and pull wayyyyyy back on racing. Their bikes fit and finish seem to be good but what you pay for given the spec of any bike I actually look at is so bad it makes Rocky or Yeti look like good value. I don't know if they were intentionally trying to get themselves into the boutique segment but it was never going to work. They completely lost their core fans.

@owl-X: lol I run in some pretty redneck circles so everybody knows but now that you say that it definitely seems sluggy. Great observation haha.

@owl-X: I live in rural SW WA and have seen more than 1 person with a tattoo of a TSL bogger tread pattern as a tattoo lol.

I think I could simply for the fact it seems I'm the only person in the PNW that still runs a DHF front lol.

Spotted: Next Generation Zeb from RockShox - Taipei Cycle Show 2024
@lightone: damn really? I thought they were raw Alu. That doesn’t make me want them less, but still, didn’t expect that.

The red is cool but whatever. I'd pay legit money to get a lyrik with the crown in machined raw like the last gen boxxer crowns were. probably zero performance but god damn they looked good.

Reece Wallace Drops A Second Insane Video From His Freeride House
That house was a straight up meth shack when he bought it by the looks of his Instagram. Also, GA is relatively affordable if you are willing to make some sacrifices. It looks like he and some friends have done most of the work and maintenance to get C-FZOL to where it is at now.

18 Bikes That Could Be Updated in 2024
Same here. The sight is my version of the perfect bike. Just enough travel, not too much. Good looking with nice straight lines, simple and no HP. It’ll be cool to see how the new HP is reviewed (shots of the bike on vital) I have an aluminum one and it’s just heavy as fuck. But that’s what makes it rock solid. I wish I could get it down to 30lbs and I’d never get a new bike.
