33 seems slightly on the heavy side for a “trail” bike. Where did the weight come from? Reading past reviews of propain bikes I’ve been surprised at how good their weights are across the range of models.

Bro WC XC is basically downhill if you compare it to the WCXC of even 15 years ago. The bikes are heavier, the tires are heavier/beefier. The suspension is burlier. The frames are slacker and have more travel.
