Point: Suspension Lockout Levers Have Made Bikes Worse
@dthomp325: I was kinda inferring that his assertion was incorrect, I think having a shock locked out is way more efficient and energy saving than ‘saving a slight slither of power’. Of course that switch can be flicked off when things get bumpier, but for the majority of my time at least I’ll be grinding out long fire roads and farmers tracks where things are generally fairly smooth. All I know is that I’d rather do climbs on my hard tail than my full sus enduro bike.

5 Things We Learned at Crankworx Rotorua 2019
@aljoburr: I’m not sure that’s realistic, especially seeing as the UCI and various others say that one of the reasons why there’s not more rounds is because there’s very few people/organisations who actually want/are capable of hosting them. But surely it’s virtually already made for them in NZ during Crankworx and in Australia we already know there’s the appetite and organisations capable of hosting them because of previous rounds there. You’ve also got to consider smaller teams that might not have the budget to attend more rounds.

Santa Cruz Nomad CC XL

$2200 GBP
Hi there. Selling Santa Cruz Nomad to free up some cash, the bike is in excellent condition and hasn’t been ridden a great deal. I have previously worked as a professional mechanic and wheel builder, and as such the wheels are handbuilt and the bike has been serviced regularly so its all in fantastic condition. Wheels and tyres are set up tubeless, I am keeping the Shimano XT cranks that are pictured and will be replaced by a pair of Shimano SLX cranks which are in excellent condition. The build is awesome, full compression settings available on the RCT3 Pike and the Chris King headset really tricks it out, the perfect privateers enduro race bike. XL sizing is pretty run of the mill large sizing nowadays with the lengthening of modern trail bikes. Local pick-up for free or 20 pounds postage, UK only. Feel free to make me an offer, thanks! Also available as frame only here - Bike Specifications Frame: Santa Cruz Nomad CC size XL, 27.5 (650b), 165mm Travel Shock: Rockshox Monarch Plus RC3, 165mm Travel Fork: Rockshox Pike RCT3 160mm Travel, 15mm Maxle Rear Derailleur: Shimano XT Shadow Clutch Shifter: Shimano XT 11spd Crankset: Shimano SLX (not pictured) Cassete: Shimano XT 11-46t Chain: Shimano 11spd Bottom Bracket: Shimano Brakes: Shimano XT (not pictured) Brake Rotors: Shimano ZEE 180mm Headset: Chris King Bars: Truvativ BooBar 780mm Stem: Thomson 35mm Grips: ODI Ruffian Lock-on Front Hub: Hope Bulb 100x15mm Rear Hub: Hope Pro 2 142x12mm Rims: Stans NoTubes ZTR Arch Front Tyre: Maxxis Highroller Tubeless 3C EXO Rear Tyre: Maxxis Ardent Tubeless 3C EXO (not pictured) Seatpost: Rockshox Reverb Stealth 125mm Drop Saddle: Fizik Gobi XM
