Intense Cycles Launches Spider Pro & Foundation Builds
The Pro build with the SRAM 70 Transmission instead of XT would be my preference. Analogue, and as simple as possible.

SRAM Maven Brake Review: The Current Benchmark for Accessible Power
@weeksy59: La Molina is one the bikeparks closest to where I live and have ridden there a lot over the years. That must be it then! SRAM need to do their testing there haha! The ambient heat, plus smashed up tracks at the end of the season definitely contribute to overheating brakes.

SRAM Maven Brake Review: The Current Benchmark for Accessible Power
Every single set of SRAM Guides I have had ended up having the master cylinder seize up over time. 100% consistency on failure!! Maybe the move to mineral oil will resolve this as the issue seemed to be with the plastic plunger swelling up over time. These short term reviews will not detect this type of fail as it happens from 1 yr+. Can anyone say yet if SRAM have addressed this problem, as from other reviews they never did with the Guides?

Pinkbike Poll: What Flat Tire Fixes Work For You?
Tubeless is great, until it isn´t. On a day out to the Pyrenees my new rear tyre started to loose air at the rim. Was not able to fix it as the rim was slightly dented. Only solution was a messy inner tube, but I only resorted to this after already loosing a lot of time. I have since resorted back to DH tyres and inner tubes for long days out to big mountains/bike parks. Tubeless and Enduro tyres for local rides. Tubeless is too unreliable for me when it actually does go wrong, and I prefer the security of knowing swapping a tube will save a big day out from ending before it´s done.

Spotted: Hope's New GR4 Brakes - Loudenvielle DH World Cup 2025
One of the reasons I love Hope is their reliability and ease of service. If you need to bleed in the back of beyond you can do so with a torx screw, a bit of silicon hose from any hardware store, any form of jar/container and some dot fluid. I really Hope (sorry) the bleed screw doesn´t mean the need for a bleed kit. Listen up Hope.

Pinkbike Poll: Money-No-Object, Would You Rather Have Electronic or Mechanical Shifting?
I just like the simplicity of mechanical drivetrains. Clean your bike, park it, forget about it. The main issue is durability and serviceability of the current mechanical derailleurs, which Srams Transmission seems to address.

Video: Inside the Hope Factory
Hope are the one brand that I consistently spec my bikes with. I have hubs and brakes that are over 20 years old and are still rocking. New bikes immediately get the stock brakes swapped with 10 year old Hopes. You can buy every spare part years down the line, and the products are robust, work brilliantly and look great! A leading example for an industry as a whole!!!
