Last Sunday, the 2021 Costa Rican Open DH took place at Finca La Lucha in Costa Rica. The second edition of this event featured several World Cup riders and more than 100 local riders.
Enjoy a four minute recap of an amazing race under very wet conditions in a beautiful paradise called Costa Rica.
Uci and redbull need to start having a world Cup not a European Cup these locals would be so stoked on a big event and would hugely benefit from it.we are bored of watching leogang and ft William now
They need a northern and a southern hemisphere world cup. The seasons would work out perfectly too and there would always be races all year round. So many tropical places that would be amazing.
My son went with the group from socal and was fortunate to win the Jr ex class. He said the race, people, organizers and fans were awesome and he had the best time and cant wait to go back. Big thanks to Diego Espinoza(on the video) for making it all happen!
Your son is a total beast. I'm from Costa Rica and live in LA. I often go to Aliso and Laguna and I've been following your boy for the past few years. A lot of growth. I'm sure he'll get places and will learn a lot as he visits different places and comes in contact with down-to-earth people. Keep it Pura Vida!
@carlostrancex2: Thank you that is so kind to hear! He truly cannot say enough good things about his trip to Costa Rica and even though the rain made things interesting, he truly was grateful for the chance to ride in the rain on a great course and learned a great deal. Thank you again for the kind words, say hi if you ever see us out here on the trails, take care! Pura Vida!
While I can't understand a word they were saying, it was pretty damn easy to understand from the smiles that they were stoked and that it was an awesome event. Cheers to CR for putting on what looked like a great time.
@ogamboa: Ustedes son la tapa del perol y el tronco donde ser rasca el tigre. Saludos desde California de parte de un Nicoyano. Sigan creciendo. Pura vidota.
