Hats off to pidcock. Hell of a race and well deserved win. Unfortunate that there will be yet another year without rainbow jersey at the WC but can't fault him for being better than all the dedicated WC riders. 🤷🏼♂️

"The French Spirit": Emmanuel Macron Comments on Racing at the Les Gets DH World Cup
While the videos look awesome, half those people ran onto the course before Max even crossed the line. They weren't there for the result or to celebrate him but rather just to get drunk and be loud and create chaos.
Don't get me wrong, hell of a spectacle. But they were LUCKY that someone didn't hit Max like the tdf or more people get hurt (some did).
They should prob put more controls in place is the French crowds will continue to do this.
Let the racers race.

Race Report: More Than 300 Women Compete at Tiger Mountain in Washington for the 2026 Sturdy Dirty
You are the reason why she was worried about being shamed. While you may not agree with her decision, it is her decision to make nonetheless. She felt like she was within her abilities to ride, be safe for her and the baby and have a good time. Good for her. You can make a diff decision when you are 6 months pregnant. Doesnt make either decision right or wrong.

Rissveds is a consummate racer but that move was bullshit. If had just been the course cut/reentry it's a non issue. But the fact that she bodies Blunk, causing her to crash when she reentered should be grounds for a penalty at the very least. Feels like Rissveds definitely got some big-name favoritism with this one by UCI.

Pinkbike Poll: What Made You Stop Caring About Enduro?
I haven't stopped caring about enduro. I've stopped caring about the current version of 'pro' enduro. It feels like DH stage racing with repeated venues, less gnarly and with little to no coverage. Why should I give a shit? It used to be incredible recaps in adventurous locations with massive backcountry stages and relatable tracks. It lost its soul. I get more joy out of watching the Eastern States Cup recap video than I do pro enduro these days. UCI brings back 2 days races in the backcountry of Crested Butte or some middle of no where Spanish mountain range where stages are blind with a solid recap....im in.

While brutal and I would have loved to see luca in the finals again, I love the new format (though it needs to be streamed). I never loved the idea of protected riders. This new format allows a privateer or an up and coming rider (ahem....maples) to shine and make finals vs. already being on the backfoot with 15 spots reserved.

2026 Enduro World Cup Preview: Team Lists, Race Details & More
If one were to skip the first race in Loudenvielle, every other race is within a quick little 6 hr drive of the other rounds. Aletsch, Morillon and La Thuile is a grand total of 4 hrs of driving between the 3 rounds. WORLD series my ass. I get that it had to be downsized etc. but focusing exclusively on a tiny little area of the alps is pretty disappointing when even within Europe there are awesome opportunities like the UK.

Dan Booker Retires from World Cup Racing Following Career-Best Season
@lepigpen: I would agree with that. Unfortunately, as discussed a multitude of times, its tough to capitalize on the discipline due to the nature of it. Personally I would love to see it go back to its roots of big backcountry stages, little to no shuttling etc. and just get awesome recaps and POVs after the fact. Thats what made it different from DH in the first place.

Don't know if there will be an official 'nail in the coffin'. Enduro always thrived as a grassroots thing and still gets huge participation at local and regional events. Just don't think the 'pro' version of it as we know it today will survive. But I could see it going back to how it started. Sort of lost its soul with huge teams, defacto DH-stage races and big money with little to no return.

He seemingly does it every xc race he shows up for so I guess it's not embarrassing anymore for the rest of the field 😂 just par for the course.
But really, dude waltzes in, no time on the MTB and dusts everyone, every time.
