This Tiny Tubeless Valve Promises 666% the Air Flow of Presta - Taipei Cycle Show 2026
Inflating tires is certainly the most common maintenance task and Presta valves are probably the weakest link on any modern bike. Yes, they work, but they’re also prone to failure and have ruined a few days for me because I twisted or snapped the tip and didn’t have a spare valve with me.
So why stick with an outdated standard when there are better alternatives? Converting all my bikes to Schwalbe Click Valves last year was one of the best and most affordable upgrades ever. Much easier and safer to use and works great with a small electronic pump - just clip it on and press the button.

Reece Wilson Shares Graphic Injury Update, Hopes to Salvage 2025 Season
Saw a similar injury in Morzine last week, a massive cut on the elbow on a guy wearing full upper body protection. Guess the skin was overstretched and ripped in both cases, but I have no idea how this happens exactly. New fear unlocked..

Nerding Out: You're Measuring Sag Wrong, But That's OK
What I miss most in the whole suspension setup discussion is finding the right starting point — what is 100% travel?
Fork should be easy 1:1, but my Fox 36 Factory 170mm only has 160mm when completely deflated and pushed in, and with a well-working setup, the max travel I can reach on the hardest hits is around 146mm. So what is my 100% starting point for measuring SAG, 170mm, 160mm, or 146mm? Any input would be much appreciated!

Check Out: New Grips, Saddles, Pants, & More
Very glad to read that! I've just ordered Dumonde Tech hub oil yesterday to hopefully avoid the gunk that built up with the previous oil from the bikeshop, and quieting down my hub is definitely not the goal. A loud hub is like a friendlier bell on shared trails, and a passive-aggressive tool to let slow riders know it's time to get out of my way ;)
