First Ride: OneUp Launches $599 Aluminum Wheelset
Along the topic of warranties..... I made a bad line choice with my new Raceface Era carbon wheel set. The mistake was totally mine, and a crack right on the bead edge was created. But the rim still rode perfectly for a few weeks. I went through the simple warranty avenue with RF. A brand new wheel including hub all built up was sent out to me. That is a life time warranty no questions asked policy. I had no issue whatsoever. RF Vault hubs are also great.

Review: Shimano XTR 9220 Brakes - Consistency is Key
Just wanted to mention Galfer Rotors and pads. I've been using Shimano xtr brakes for many years, as well as Saints with xtr levers on bike Trail bikes. I ride the very steep fast Mt 7 mostly. I've always found the 1.8mm Shimao rotors to wear quickly and warp with heat too much. For the past 4 years I've been using the Galfer Shark and wave rotors in 2.0mm. And the Purple Sintered brake pads. This is an amazing combination. Shark rotors do last longer, balances out the eatra cost. Purple pads are pretty insane. Green Pro pads werar too quickly. Check em out, you'll be grinning. Of note, the 223 rotors took to much time to warm up. Bit of vibration and also sound.

Race Face Releases Roach Clothing Collection
I still have my green Roach Vest. Needs a new zipper, but I wear it. Think there's a yellow Stem pad around somewhere as well.

Spotted: New Ohlins Coil Shock on Finn Iles's Specialized Demo
@rustyglaze5: Totally disagree with you. I currently have Kashima coated both fork and seat post as well as the same fork and seat post with the black coating. Kashima is definitely less sticky/less friction. Don't ask me why, it just is period......
