I was hoping for a local win, but gotta say, stoked for Fearon to get this win. He's done well here before so I'm not at all shocked. Dude is pinning it.
as far as i know Kona dont make a production 27,5 DH bike. Unless they have something special set up for him ? Last thing i read/heard was that the carbon operator wouldnt work with the 27,5 format.
That sucks. I saw him at the bottom,i should've just asked him. Was wondering if he wrecked during his run because there was a pretty lengthy gap between riders when he was up,but guess not. Best to save it for the World Cup,i guess. Saw some brutal wrecks today. One of the pros nailed a tree right in front of me,right after the berm below the waterfall.
Yeah and then ropaleto ate it hard in the berm coming into the waterfall. He jumped off to the side cuz he slammed his leg into a tree good. My buddy compressed and fractured his T9 in practice on Saturday and they stretchered him off the mountain
It degrades the information, I know. I can barely contain my rage that a team was not dispatched to write the results up in cursive, with a hand written border, upload it with the finest scanner money can buy and disperse it mere moments after each time was recorded.
It's what keeps me up at night.
Each rider is being timed and uploded into a computer already as soon as they go across the line. The results could be uploded/posted here within minutes if not faster. The question should be how long will it take the NW Cup to post the results on their site.
Such a ripper.
