Biking in Surfer's Paradise

When you can get past the garbage and free flowing sewage into the ocean, yes i would agree Bali is an amazing place. My wife and I hiked mount Agung (the largest volcano) there overnight, and had banana pancakes at sunrise on the summit.. EPIC! 6.5 hours up and 8.5 down, 30 km in total from where we parked, and during our decent all i could think was ... SHIT I need my wilson right now lol. Amazing steep spines through lush jungle. Its not for everyone though. For me I went for a spiritual trek and to catch some surf, but after seeing what was in the ocean around Kuta and Seminyak, my feet never entered the water. We met some amazing people, and opted to get a scooter and explore the island instead, and see the raw, unadulterated third world that 99% of Bali is, and for that I have a greater appreciation for life.
