Revenue Round Up: Some Success Amidst Falling Sales
Near impossible to get individual Shimano parts - can't even get XT 4 pot (D02S, N04 or N03) pads in Australia. If Shimano actually produced replacement parts and sold them they might make some profit....

Revenue Round Up: Some Success Amidst Falling Sales
"Orbea profit after tax increasing by 20% when compared to 2021". This is solely due to Orbea moving to headset bearing routing

Tech Randoms: Nove Mesto XC World Cup 2023
If you have ever ridden OEM Bontrager you will be feeling happy for the athletes now being able to run tyres that they can trust in corners and under brakes if it’s not bone dry. Trek should sell all their bikes with Pirelli. Get rid of their weakest link.

Review: We Are One Convergence Carbon Wheelset
Very brave to criticise I9 for bearing issues. I have done it before and would suggest that is a major not minor issue as it seems to afflict more than just my Hydra hubs which have chewed through multiple sets of bearings. The "but they provide awesome customer service" fanbois might get upset again as they don't seem to want to see their local manufacturers be critiqued. It's a fact and needs to be addressed. It makes their value seem low end as DT Swiss bearing sets last at least 5X as long. I hope I9 look to improve this in future or current range(s)

First Look: Atherton AM.170
@ratedgg13: relax man, you seem to think two suspension linkage designs are the same because they are by the same designer. Given that mindset I think you shouldn’t be criticising others

Fox Announces New Float & Float SL Shocks
@justinfoil: based on your experience that is. My first float X2 ( 2019 ) failed within a month. 2 mates float x2 ( also the previous version ) failed within 6 months. Fox immediately rebuilt all of them and they all failed again soon after. We are all on coil now. One bough a fox coil ( failed with oil leaks) one EXT, one RS. No issues otherwise. Now a few others - 5 - have current ( 2022?) float x2 and only one of those blew up within warranty. I don’t think this scenario is an uncommon experience around our trails

EXT Launches Aria Shock
@trioofchaos: this. Yeti's (we have one) are shockers for pivot bearings and rear swingarm flex. They are awesome for about a year then you start the never ending $$ yeti re-build project.... EXT however (own a Storia & ERA) are bombproof, reliable and great to tune. Generally run far too much low speed compression damping out of the box but easy to tune the shim stacks. ERA with twin chamber is a pain to tune but when dialled provides next level confidence
