Review: The Quarry Rage Bait 32" Hardtail
"it was a bit of a tradeoff, with moments of excellence interspersed with those of terror". That sounds like my description of a fun ride :-). In

Schwalbe Romy Tire Review: Impressive Comfort Without Sacrificing Speed
@hamncheez: just get a continental soft enduro for the rear. Roll much faster, lighter and at least as strong. No need for faff.

Schwalbe Romy Tire Review: Impressive Comfort Without Sacrificing Speed
@ThermalAttorney: agreed on this. Albert is a pig out back and doesn’t provide the super confidence of many other options out front. I can’t see much point for it in Schwalbe’s lineup

Review: 9 Months on the Evil Offering - It's All About Fun
@nicoenduro: another confirmation here. The medium is a compact little thing but ever so much fun and surprisingly capable in the gnar and steeps. So you have a fun bike where you can also feel safe and secure and know you won't case the gaps as its so lively and easy to jump as well. Pretty much peak trail bike in my view
