Bike Check: Charles Murray's Pivot Firebird 29
@Linc: to add to your point consider another top pro - Ritchie. At 180cm he rides a Medium SB150 and has 'narrow' bars compared to the Enduro_Bro_approved 800mm. To go fast on an EWS track firstly needs boundless skill, strength and athleticism , then an ability to not loose speed which is through the corners and over tech. A silly long Front Centre that is the centre of all Enduro_Bro fantasies only helps the less skilled keep the bike going straight down the steeps, it doesn't help you get around the corners quickly and exit the technical sections with retained momentum. If the Pro's results and what they ride are not a good demonstration that reach numbers have gotten a bit out of hand than what evidence will it take to change the flavor of the coolaid?

Bike Check: Charles Murray's Pivot Firebird 29
Hail to the Anti_Enduro_Bro_Coolaid club !! Ride a bike that fits you and you can put the power down on, not the extra stupid long, super super steep SA, ultra mega slack HA bikes the slow, low skilled but cool armchair engineers ride or at least aspire to ride as they are shit.

Bike Check: Jack Moir's Canyon Strive - EWS Pietra Ligure 2020
@isuckatridingbutmybikeiscool: Thank you. This is spot on. Jack is a tall and lanky dude at well over 6’ but his skills don’t need a super long Enduro Bro bike to get him down the hills at podium level speeds.

Video: Braydon Bringhurst's Inspired Trail Riding in 'Solace'
Another big fan of seeing some talented technical climbs in the clips. The focus on DH, Going huge freeride and Pro level Enduro is do far removed from what most of us ride its refreshing to see how we could actually ride! Keep it up! Ps: you seem to also go against the trend with a reach that looks almost small for you. What size frame do you ride? Cheers

Video: 77Designz's Frame Reaches Completion in the Final Episodes of 'We Develop a Bike Frame'
Ive been fortunate enough to ride their prototype @bikeflog on insta. Its very planted and brilliant in the chunk and chunder. Climbs very well for what it is too! Definitely go grab one if you’re interested in something unique, burly and super capable.
