I'm looking to sell my used EVIL The Calling full suspension trail bike off to a good home. While I've had a great time with this bike over the years, it's time to rotate this one out of the line up and into the hands of someone look for an outstanding all-around MTB. I've gotten the bike serviced each season, regularly clean it, and have taken great care of this bike overall. It has the normal scuffs of any used bike, but there are no cracks, dings, dents, or anything like that. Happy to answer any additional questions any one has at any time. *Full disclosure, the brakes are at end of life and should be replaced. I took this into consideration when choosing the selling price, and wanted to be honest about it. If you are interested in the bike, but don't want to go about swapping brakes yourself, happy to chat about me putting on a new set of brakes and adjusting the price accordingly.

I've had this Transition Bottlerocket since June 2009. Built it up piece by piece and have put many great rides in on it over the years. It has handled everything from resort riding to dirt jumps to all mountain trail riding and never let me down. I'm not going to pretend like a 9 year old bike hasn't spent more than a bit of time on the trails. It most certainly has and yet continues to chug along with no issues. This thing is built like a tank and weighs in at 39lbs (a respectable weight for the non-carbon but budget friendly days of 2009). No cracks or dingers in the frame, just normal wear and tear minor scratches. I've cared for the bike over the years with regular cleanings at home and routine maintenance at the local shops. This thing would make a fantastic first bike for someone looking to get into big bike riding without the multi-thousand dollar price tag. It would also be great for those who want to go big, throw this thing out of the way when things go wrong, and yet still have a solid bike for the next run down the mountain (remember when we were all made of sunshine and rainbows and could come back from any crash without a care in the world? Wonderful times.). You might need to change the handlebars for personal preference as they are on the narrow side for sure, but maybe you also want to get really great at X-Ups over every little jump you can find.
