Same here. Best brakes I ever had, I'll try keeping them running as long as parts are available. I started with a pair of Direttissima with C41 calipers, best combo imo with the shortest free stroke on the market ! Then I wanted to buy another pair for a second bike, but they came with the updated C42 calipers and the freestroke was bigger... I asked Trickstuff if the lever internals have been updated as well, but no, only the caliper had a different internal design (maybe the piston diameter and seal design made it move the pistons back more than on the C41, creating more clearance from the disc (less rubbing), so more freestroke as well. I was lucky enough to find some fresh C41 calipers (stealth) on a German 2nd-hand market, swapped them with the C42 and voilà... Now having 2 perfect pairs to ride on. The bleeding is very simple, not as clean as with the Sram valve introduced in ~2018, but technically basic enough. Since these brakes put a lot of pressure (especially the Maxima), I suspect the difference in feel from left to right is actually coming from the brake line length, giving more room to expand with the ear line.

@xlcheese: maybe because there are more Shimano brakes out there than Maguras...

It's not what you sell but what you build in research, experience, and what it also does to your brand's image. Look at Lapierre or Cannondale, meanwhile, look at Orbea having one in the catalogue now.

@phops: All the air & coil shocks fit inside besides massive Flight Attendant and DHX Neo which require a 3D printed cover. Just pick your choice and ride !

UCI might try getting their hands on this as soon as it's successful. I hope they will simply say 'NO' if that ever happens...

@SintraFreeride: that's a lot of work on manufacturers to make 25 or 30mm specific tires... It's simpler to spec another rim width

LB once said he preferred 25mm to make the tire section rounder. That's why he's not running the EX511 or else
