With a 4-bar linkage, the pivot location isn’t something you can point to on the frame, it’s a virtual pivot. The instant center is constantly shifting as the suspension cycles, so there’s no fixed “pivot height” to reference without seeing the kinematics plotted out. Calling something a “high-pivot” in this context is already a bit fuzzy, since that usually implies a pivot sitting above the chainring on a single-pivot layout. The OP mentioned it’s the “highest pivot location without needing an idler pulley." For us to really understand what that looks like though, we’d need to see a model of the virtual pivot path. Without that, we’re mostly just guessing.
