First Ride: Devinci's New Made-in-Canada E-Spartan Lite
Got a Levo SL2 recently, and honestly it's miles ahead of my Hightower. Just running it in Eco I can knockout twice the climbing and descending in the same time, but still get the equivalent workout. It hauls on the way down with that bit more weight, but still feels playful. I can just about hang with the full ebikes when I need to (with a bit of effort).
Loads of mates have them, which helps keep the ride grouped. They're not for everyone, but they make a lot sense for the right rider. Definitely feel I've largely retained my fitness, whilst buzzing from the extra gravity fix.

Opinion: Keeping the Spark Alive
@jeremy3220: Yep. Picked up an XXL 2020 Hightower secondhand during lockdown, and can't see any need to replace it.
At 193cm I'd struggled to find a bike that fitted before then. The Hightower with 160mm is what I'd waited years for.
Could see me tempted to get an ebike at some point in the future.

Video: Josh Bryceland's Bolly Skyline Enduro
First 'race' in a long while and loved it. Great to be out in the local hills, bumping into loads of mates collected over the years of riding. Sessioning the stages on Saturday in the sun was incredible, and Sundays slide against the clock was a blast.
Really was the mountain bike scene at it's best, and great to integrate with the local community too.
