The 'North Fork' was closed April 2, 2012 by WA DNR due to concerns with liability and environmental sustainability. Despite thousands of hours of volunteer effort into public lands, the user-built trail system was deemed illegal and closure was immediate. Soundtrack: "Boogie Woogie" Kruder & Dorfmeister; "Shut Up & Let Me Go" Ting Tings; "Fluff" Black Sabbath; "Symphony of Destruction" Megadeth

My winning entry for the Through the Lens film competition during the 2012 Queenstown Bike Festival. The six months that I've spent in Queenstown has been nothing shorter than amazing. This place has not just some of the best riding in the world but also a booming bike scene and extraordinary people. This video is an homage to all of Queenstown - a best of the best from an amazing summer.

Telling the story of all our favorite trails on our favorite mountain seems like a great way to start a relationship between Silvia and Sun Peaks. So Matt Miles hits the trails hard, smashing and slashing his way around the mountain with a style that can't be faked.

Testing out the intervalometer over a couple of days with some super fast digging, first day ends with me using a head torch as it got pretty dark(also the quality is pretty shitty for the first day as i didnt associate using a shot quality jpeg as making a shit quality video). Also the exposure gets a bit jumpy as it was getting dark fast and i was only changing it periodically.
