Pollishing mud (full)
Testing out the intervalometer over a couple of days with some super fast digging, first day ends with me using a head torch as it got pretty dark(also the quality is pretty shitty for the first day as i didnt associate using a shot quality jpeg as making a shit quality video). Also the exposure gets a bit jumpy as it was getting dark fast and i was only changing it periodically.

I know how you feel. Here in BC, the weather is like the opposite, it gets so dry that whenever it rains I run to my trails to get as much shit done before it dusts out again

Dude, moss not only looks insane, but also holds the jumps together, crisp edges get raped in one day of rain, curved ones are much more durable which is why we use them... We didint touch the backs and sides because it fucks up all the moss which then dies...

Crisp edges definitely don't get killed by rain, unless the side collapse, you can pack moss and it will still live and stick to the jump.

Christ edges on sand jumps don't last.
Also you can't stick a new layer on sand without chopping it, so to polish up the sides ect you have to demolish all the moss, so we just leave

Don't talk about sand jumps not working, that's all that kid digs (his trails are the ones nick always posts)

Which ones?
I can make crisp edges, i can make backs look perfect, when i first build a jump the backs and sides do look perfect, but they just dont last... dry weather... wet weather, all just demolishes anything nice... thats why i focus on keeping lips nice. A rounded edge is much more durable to harsh weather, so thats why i keep my edges round.
My point was that the sides are packed, to fix the holes in them we have to put more dirt on, to put more dirt on the moss has to go... i like moss

Trust me it is sandy, did you not see how deep we had to go to get half decent surface? The phole place just turns to dust over summer... Your place doesnt look sandy?
