Pinkbike Poll: If You Had to Ride One Bike for the Rest of Your Life, What Would It Be?
As someone with a 130mm full sus, they still fuckin' suck on the road. If you bicycle commute or ride on roads with any degree of frequency a hardtail/downcountry becomes a lot more appealing. An XC whippet around 20lbs can grind gravel like a muther and if the geo is capable they can handle most terrain outside of bike parks and BC.

It's the Pinkbike comment section, what do you expect? We're here to talk about bikes. Would 400 comments saying "Cool." be more to your liking? Pinkbike commenters bitch, and companies sometimes listen. The system works! Sorta. This bike is ugly, heavy, fucking expensive, already dated, and not a real mountain bike. Next :)!

Review: 2020 Kona Process 134 CR/DL 29 - A Quick Cornering Trail Bike
@digitalsoul: I also know a guy who works in a shop that carries Kona (and he has a couple himself) and he says that as of the last couple years they're been a fuckin' shit-show when it comes to quality control. Always being brought back to the shop for hardware failures.

Kali Launches Their New Affordable Pace Helmet
Tried on a Maya recently but was disappointed by how it fit. It really sits on top of your head like a funny cap. If you look up pictures you can see there's often an inch gap+ around the wearer's ears. I wish they'd redesign it considering the temple seems to be a pretty common area of impact in a crash.

You could say this about pretty much all MTB companies though. The innovators are developing new manufacturing processes like GG and Pole, or they have radical geometry, which isn't necessarily a good thing (like Nicolai and Pole). In terms of suspension single pivot, twin-link, and their variants are as old as the hills, and "new" concepts like Naild's design haven't been well received. Takeaway: find a company you like and buy their bikes.

Quiz: Can You Guess These 18 Grips From Their Tread Alone? - Eurobike 2019
I know they're a bit pricey, but Ergon GD1s are very legit (and not dorky like normal Ergons). They're a strange combo of soft, sticky, AND durable, and the taper completely got rid of my wrist pain.
