You're right, some of the tracks further away are better, Dowies especially, but it's better because they're not so well known and better kept.

I was initially thinking the same as you, it's really not that hard pushing up and getting loads of runs and sections in. But at only £20 for a day we thought we'd try it and banged out 16 runs in a day. It was brilliant being able to hit the tracks that you wouldn't usually because they're not always worth the push up. Fast uplift and a fairly flat pedal mean you're warmed up when you hit the trails and you can roll into any of them a high speed without having to pedal!
Definitely recommend.
