Avinox Issues Statement on eBike Power, Speed, and Safety
worth noting and asking about the VPN hack which according to the EN 15194:2017 EPAC regulation is basically tampering and therefore not in line with the EPAC regulations. thus the motor should not be sold as an EPAC. unit if it doesnt stop tampering.

The 2026 Mondraker Zendit - An eMTB We Can't Talk About
@mikekazimer: Bosch state clearly that the limit is 750w federal peak power in USA. Im sure they have good lawyers. the new motors have 2x this.... thats not legal. speed limit 20 mph. but dji allows teh vpn hack, theirfore technically on public land making it a class three... and ilegal. if you dont call them out on this and take their money for publicity you are part of the problem.

The 2026 Mondraker Zendit - An eMTB We Can't Talk About
@DylanJM77: ive ridden it, honestly its not worth the hype, this bike actually has the wrong geo for 1300w of power uphil on tech trails, its motorbike like... needs a closed head angle and or less power... stupidity to sell things with big numbers.

A Bosch vs. Avinox Final Challenge & Our Field Test E-Bike Rankings
The new M2 will be different, have a different bolt pattern and the current M1 is already old. Production delays mean also the system will be late to market. There are two new motors, one lighter and less powerful. There are still no spare parts and service available in every shop like with Bosch and no training has taken place to the general retail market. Which means, at least for another year or two patchy service. The DJI system also seems to be having issues with cables not working properly as a main fault. A simple swap but you need to know where to get them from, service is not immediate in every store. The software is also very different and basically requires no efffort to ride, a different sport. The motor also has a less immediate response compared to a Bosch system, no matter the tuning. The hype is un deserved, what makes it interesting for people is the 800 percent multiplication factor, which means 100 watt in gets you 900 out, this is confused for actual connection to the rider. So much undeserved hype, luckily pink bike wasnt paid off to "like" it unlike all the EU mags supporting their commy friends....
