@mikekazimer: Yeah but if Casey Brown (or any woman freerider) hit it, it'd be rad. I think Gwizard has a good point that Yoann is expanding the freeride community, which will lead to more firsts & exploration as those folks level up.

The Smith Engage is $100 with mips, doesn't have straws to make you hot, and is generally very light and comfortable.
Great alternative Ifya are spooked by the price and don't want all the fancy features.

My anecdotal evidence is similar. I've seen issues with lower cages falling off, lots of dead batteries (due to the system constantly waking itself on the drive to the trails), and broken/bent cages due to lack of swing in the system.
GX mechanical works fine thanks.

I'll be livid if they stop making mainstream bikes with any rear routing. I'm hopeful this won't happen... but it is definitely a possibility.
Won't buy into cable tourism or cable erasure!

I think they've improved the fit, as my pump never comes loose! Only complaint with my oneup pump is the pump-head sometimes works loose and the handle extends... I've tried a new seal kit, but I ended up just taping it shut (which also doubles as nice emergency tape.
