Bike Check: Lean Cycles P1 Prototype
@Untgrad: I would expect that the printed part has a protrusion that sleeves internally inside the tube. It's a guess but I've seen that method used with welded printed lungs multiple times before. As for why they're not angled, I'd guess it's due to weight and confidence in the strength of the straight connection. Love the frame! it's great seeing people take the time to play with ideas and manage to make something innovative.

Nice one matt. Looks good, awesome little cars. I've still got a few bits of my polo lying around if you need anything, nothing exciting left though, just spare bits a pieces. Your bank account will have fun with the coilovers on that thing by the way, you have to do them on a exchange bassis for your old struts because the hub and struts one piece, and your looking at the bad side of £400. Not cool. HnR spring and shock kits pretty nice if you don't wanna shell out for coilys, that's what I had on my polo and it was awesome. There's a polo meet in the car park of Halfords on the first Monday of every month at 8pm, you should pop along next week, I'll pick you up if you want.
