Pinkbike Poll: How Mechanically Minded Are You?
I like my own mechanic work, because I enjoy the handful of extra bolts I have when everything is done and put back together.

Specialized Epic FSR World Cup Carbon 25.4lbs

$2800 USD
2017 Specialized Epic FSR World Cup MSRP (without upgrades): $6,500 (FYI, This is spec’d higher than the S-Works version which MSRP’d at $8,500) This weighs in at 25.4 lbs. So if you’re looking for a full-suspension bike that pedals uphill like a hardtail, yet descends like plush memory foam pillow, look no further. Specs: Frame: Size Large, full carbon. Fork: RockShox SID with Specialized Brain internal valving and damping. Shock: Fox FutureShock built specifically for the Epic Brain. Seat/Post: KS Lev Integra dropper with 100mm travel with remote paired with Specialized S-Works Carbon Saddle with Carbon Rails. Wheels: Specialized Roval Carbon 29er includes a whole box of replacement DT Swiss spokes. Tires: Specialized Ground Control 29x2.1 (like new, setup tubeless) Handlebar/Stem: ENVE RSR Carbon bar with Specialized stem. Includes Garmin mount stem cap. Carbon spacers. Brakes: SRAM Level ULT with Carbon levers and new SRAM Straightline 180mm rotors F/R Shifting: SRAM X01 12 speed shifter with 12 speed X01 Eagle Derailleur. Cassette: SRAM GX 12 speed Eagle, with LOW mileage. Crankset: Drive side is X01 Eagle with Eagle chainring. Non-drive side is a Stages Powermeter Carbon crank arm. Chain: brand new SRAM Eagle XX1 12 speed. Pedals: Shimano PD-M520 included. Just see bike to appreciate it. If you know what the Specialized Epic can do, you’ll absolutely LOVE its performance. With the Brain valving on the fork and shock, it knows the difference between rider pedal input and will lockout the suspension automatically when you’re climbing, but also knows the trail input and behaves like a normal full suspension bike when you hit bumps and drops. Blue Book places the price at $3,200 but without all the carbon upgrades and titanium hardware. Size fits riders 5’6”-6’2”. 25.4lbs!! (Swapping out the dropper, 180 rear rotor and a carbon stem would put this bike around 22-23 lbs.) Asking $2,800 (I do custom decals as well. If you want a set with the bike I’ll throw it in for half price.) If ad is up, bike is available.
