Six Ways To Make Mountain Biking Less Expensive
Another good option is upgrading the weak points on the bike you currently have. Hi end custom tuned suspension is not what some would consider "less expensive" but it can definitely be a cheaper option than buying a whole new bike with the same or marginally better dampers than ones current bike. Most people we work with are very surprised with how much an exceptional suspension set up can transform a bike they thought they knew the potential of.

Review: EXT Arma Downhill Coil Shock
@foggnm: I guess you are not understanding. They do not pay to participate in motorsports. Teams like Ferrari pay EXT to develop and produce a damper for their race program. That is the level they are on. I will agree with you though, the statement made in the article is pretty subjective which is why I think they use the term "preach" to hint at that. I think they are intending to say that many reviewers and industry people who are talking about the suspension are regarding it as the performance leader based on experience using it. Which is not very quantifiable by the counting metrics you are asking for.

Review: EXT Arma Downhill Coil Shock
@GumptionZA: Currently we are only offering an e-moto damper specific to the Sur-Ron/Talaria. All I can say is that the demand has been much higher than we anticipated so I would consider that good. We put in a fairly large order for them that we are starting delivery on this week and have pre sold about 95% of them.

Review: EXT Arma Downhill Coil Shock
@mattbeer: No Problem! I just checked and yes you are correct that they are not listed. But we have been able to order them in those sizes. Another interesting thing about the Arma we have noticed is that although it is marketed as our DH shock, we have had quite a few people using it on trail and enduro bikes as well because they rarely use their climb switch anyway and would prefer the added end stroke tunability provided by the HBC adjustment.
