Deity: A Bike Industry Love Story
I tried to hit on Sadie at my Son's wedding last year, but my line about how I thought she was Lindsay Lohan, got me no where, not to mention that I am an old fart. Eric and Sadie are good people and run a great business. Cam Z's dad.

Video: Checking Out Some Sweet Rides With Tippie
I posted this earlier today, and it was in response to the shameless advertising comment about big Howie, but I guess it went away with the original poster removing his post, so here it is again. I said: "I think they are all selling bikes, so I don't know how you missed that point. Maybe he is the only one to mention price and where to buy it. Go YT !! I am their Father and may the force be with you. "

Must See! Cam Zink Lands World Record 100 ft Backflip
I know, I shouldn't have posted anything and for sure I should have tempered the word "hater". But you gotta admit that some of the posts are downright stupid regarding what this was all about. His Mom and I always worry because we had to endue his pain and suffering he had all the early years, so now, when he finally gets his day in the spotlight I couldn't understand the posts regarding what this was or wasn't. It was a stunt and a big show, all for MTB world and the FMB. I have been around this sport for over 20 years now, and understand how Cameron is viewed by his peers. As the bubbrubb said above this post, "that's my boy". signed Cam's DAD

Must See! Cam Zink Lands World Record 100 ft Backflip
I usually don't respond with a post to all the haters, but I have been riding with Cam Zink since he could ride a bike. I am his Father. People forget that he has been an innovator in this sport and was the 1st FMB World Champ. He has won Crankworx twice, Redbull Rampage and many others. I want to know how many of you have had 15 surgeries, 4 ACL cadaver replacements, full length titanium rods in their tibias, ruptured their spleen twice, countless concussions, and still go out and perform stunts like this. This was Cam's 1 hour special on National TV, all about him. Yes it was a promotional stunt, bringing attention to the sport, calculated, measured, and practiced. It was not Rampage where he did the biggest flip last year, I might add before all of your favorite riders did. He is 28 years old and still competing, although his Mother and I wish he would go to the business part of the industry. So keep on hating and when you are out flipping and please don't get hurt. Go Cameron!!

Video: Zink, Strait And Storch Rip It Up
I wrote this last fall, but so many people don't know what it takes to be what Cameron has achieved and what he was capable of back in the day. Cam & Howie Zink were both National Jr Slalom Champs and Cameron was National Jr Downhill Champion at age 14. If I remember correctly it was at Mammoth that as a 14 year old junior, Cam beat all classes of men, all ages up to expert class. Both of my Sons started racing cross country, hated it, and then downhill and dual slalom was their passion. Cameron won an impromptu jumping contest at a cross country race in the SF Bay area when he was about 12 or 13 and decided that was his calling, so from then on it was what is now called freeride. Also, Cameron was on the Junior National Team and represented the USA both in Switzerland and France. The US Jr team wasn't up to World standards and Kyle Strait was the only US Jr that placed in the top ten, if I remember correctly. Mammoth was always a great end of season race and I wish I could have been there. signed Cam's DAD
