This one has some nuance. A year ago this feature existed in a state that was definitely tricky to ride, but the tree was still very much rollable. Then, some young idiot (likely commenting or soon to be) did some sculpting out there and this feature changed from “hard, but rollable” to “maybe rollable, full compression, might OTB” - pretty shitty and scary. The change seemingly happened overnight with no warning, and everyone who frequented this trail noticed it as they nearly ate shit on a feature they had ridden many times before. Then, a guy rode it, OTB, and got a double brain bleed and emergency services struggled to locate him because it’s an unofficial trail. Since then the feature has changed a little ultimately ending up in the tree just getting cut out I guess. So. Yeah. Don’t dumb down the trials. But also don’t make features exponentially more dangerous without warning anyone either, as you quite literally could kill someone.

What would it take to change your mind / alleviate your skepticism on these concerns?
