Sea Otter Classic and Pinkbike Partner Through 2016
Organizers of the 23rd Annual Volkswagen Sea Otter Classic Powered by SRAM are pleased to announce a four-year extension of their current partnership with Pinkbike. With over half a million subscribers and close to a billion page views a year, Pinkbike is by and large considered to be the cycling industry’s largest online media presence. Named “Official Online Media Partner”, Pinkbike will once again occupy its centrally located media bunker close to the main stage, providing online coverage in real time from the event venue.
Via Pinkbike’s in-depth event coverage including videos, images and articles, viewers around the world can stay up-to-date with race results, industry news, athlete profiles and new product features from over 300 cycling and outdoor brands on hand.

So no one won a DH race back in the elastomer days?
Also, Sea Otter may not fit our ideal of DH but it does fit the criteria. It is both on a hill and pointed down it. Plus, it is pretty fun to watch people flying over all those jumps!
