Please Don't Dumb Down the Trails
I wouldn't just attribute this to ebikes but i see the enablement aspects to hasten access without the cultivation of etiquette.....BUT I would say it is far more about attitude and entitlement that lets a person think they can change something to suit themselves when thousands of others have been happy with it for years or even prefer it the way it is/was. That's a more specific aspect that happens in any group of rider not just eebs.
I also thin a lot of the intention is safety driven....and therein lies another root cause because one person's safe is another's dull and one person's challenge is another's unsafe.
basically if you dont like it, join a local trail advocacy/build group and learn before you burn please. x

EXT Storia V3 Trunnion eyelet
$75 GBPTrunnion eyelet to convert standard shock to trunnion mount. Bought back when EXT allowed them to be sold seperately. Now they only replace under warranty or you buy a new shock.
There are seals in place but if you send to Mojo to replace it they would use a new seal kit anyway.
Had this to convert a a 210x55 to 185x55. Then changed bikes and went back to 210x55 so this has been sat around spare for 18 months. Time to sell.
Payment via paypal (you cover fees) or cash/bank transfer on collection preferred (from Forest of Dean or some S Wales locations as i travel a bit for work)

Rumor Roundup: Things That May or May Not Be Happening In the Bike Industry
Shimano have almost vanished from mtb right now, it'll be one helliva comeback if they bring these back to market AND actually serve up best products too. SRAM have smashed the drivetrain market imo, motors is seeing Bosch struggle (for sales and OEM specification) but focus on finesse and quality to set themselves apart (which at least is true) but that's a 2 horse race now for sure.
The only Shimano kit worth buying atm is brakes (if you like their feel). My wife destroyed her Shimano drivetrain on the most average of trails with (sorry wife) modest talent/gnarly riding at best. SRAM resolve all the issues on that front.

I find myself in complete agreement with Mr Beer. I also spot loads of things IRL and sometimes fail to stop myself from 'helping'. The funny thing about helping people is it only really works when they ask for it but that's their problem.

take up climbing, indoor or outdoor or bouldering it doesnt matter which. It'll do more for your grip power than any amount of weights will. then you wont be anywhere near max strength when riding and will just have an easier time of it.

Jesus christ! Having ridden that hill and trails a few times over the years I cant overstate how effing insanely fast and talented these guys are. That Pleney dirt is like nothing else too but damn the speed on display there is beyond comprehension. And yeah, it's way steeper than it looks lol
