Race Report: Schurter Takes the Sprint Rematch as Walter Wins a Four-Up Photo Finish in Campbell River
I thought Max McCulloch was just a weapon when falling with gravity, appears he's well equipped to go against it too. Oldie but a goodie https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYE2EKmaWfI

Reece Wallace folks, not Reece Wilson. Both rip...but one is Canadian and the other is Scottish.

Video: Lachlan Blair Rides The New Transition TR11 in 'Eleven out of Ten'
Great vid but I'm kinda confused on the 11/10 with the chill vibe. Also, why not ride that DH bike on burlier trails, I'm pretty sure a hardtail could've handled just fine on that terrain.

BC Bike Fest: BCBR Launches New XC, Enduro, & Downhill Races for 2026
@GBangShredder: I raced the Hartland event last year. Wasn't expecting much as I knew the tracks we were running on; however, taking out all the rolls and gaps made for a glorified xc/trail race. Second place guy was literally on an xc rig. Heard it was the same at the Nanaimo and Tzou events. I don't think Prevost has been a recent stop for the enduro race, at least not since I've been paying attention.

BC Bike Fest: BCBR Launches New XC, Enduro, & Downhill Races for 2026
Not to worry, people that are actually interested in the cup series and points towards their season will be at Port Alberni. Folks with fancy bikes, deep wallets, and lesser skills will be at the BCBR Tzou event. Different crowds. I'd also add in that the Island Cup enduro events are a bit of a snooze as they take out any feature from the trails that requires skill. At this point id say enduro in BC is being cannibalized by itself after making events too friendly and expensive.

Rim Saver is a Bottom-Out Bumper for Your Rim
Oh one more plug for cushcore. I have been able to run EXO+ tires with great success rather than the more expensive DD or DH casing. The cushcore adds some rigidity to the sidewall, especially when running lower psi. Cushcore actually pays for itself in cost savings. The minimal nature of other inserts will not likely realize this benefit.

Cushcore really isn't that difficult. Your first go installing will induce a number of four letter words, but after that it'll be smooth sailing. No harder than installing a tight fitting tire on a standard rim, and no special tools or soap are required. I wouldn't dream of riding my carbon wheelset without Cushcore on Vancouver Island.
