the term durability is not the issue here. It's factory failure from the start. It's never having a functional item. I hope you have many bikes to replace your Fox equipped bike. Shocks x2 blew up in days not Long term, hence no need to talk about durability when it's already cooked to begin with. Fox not only puts failed products to market without issues but only serves clients in the continental USA well, all others are subject to dealers that are No bueno.ive never seen one service shop that uses manuals, have clean shop Or Have items in stock. its that bad, and thats why in just a few years, fox passed from the dominant brand to be at least equal or under ROCK shox. In term of their presence in brands product lines.

@TheR: they sell them even in shop of Mtb park in North America. I guess somebody has to be buying them. More people than you would know the reality is that most bike are not 10k all in bikes. (Which is probably the worst investment you can make) Hence the 20$ "upgrade" seems more doable for the person that has no idea it could brake and kill them
