"Tires bearing the Purgatory hotpatch are priced as low as $50 USD, with the newer Trail Control models priced at $75-80 USD. With competing tires like the Schwalbe Romy costing upwards of twice as much" WHAATTTT?
We sell Romy Radials for $85 before tax equivalent.... You guys are getting rinsed.

Race Report: Hope Women Enduro 2026
The sport has changed a lot since it got popular 10 years back. It was as you describe a way into a very male dominated sport back then. hundreds of guys raced with a handful of women. Now the sport is a lot more diverse and I think its more likely to attract women across all races, (and the male field has also shrunk to be fair) but as a successful event it keeps on rolling!

Schwalbe Romy Tire Review: Impressive Comfort Without Sacrificing Speed
Running Romys for a few months. Not convinced up front but out back its a great tyre. Much faster than the albert, clears better.
Paired with Mary upfront is mint. Id quite like a radial mid compound to be fair - there's enough grip to warrant going harder again.

Everyone I know runs the DH casing, not Enduro.
Maybe the reason you dont get the supersoft trail because the trails are made in a different factory and they're not keen on releasing all the compound secrets?
What I think they should do is offer a 24" version in Enduro soft for all the young shredders out there. There's literally no proper tyres in 24 other than a RR from Schwable (not very agressive) or the single front Krypto which I think is OE that leaked onto the aftermarket.
