UCI & WBD Sports Cancel 2027 Enduro World Cup Season
What made the EWS great was:
- the unique venues that exposed us to awesome new riding locations all over the world
- mass participation races where amateurs could ride the same course as the pros
- the "Enduro spirit", sounds cheesy but Enduro was a social event as much as it was a race.
- races ridden in bikes and trails that we ride ourselves and can relate to
The move to UCI in my view was because Chris Ball wanted it to become an Elite sport where it would have the same standing as other major cycling disciplines.
This move killed all the things that made it great in the first place.
In my view, they should have focused their efforts to increase Enduro participation by getting as many people involved as possible Vs making it so elite that only the pros could get involved.

Who are the 2026 UCI Enduro World Cup Series Winners?
Congratulations to Ella for the win. I remember her riding the Scottish Enduro Series almost 10 years ago as a young lass and it's amazing to see a young Scottish lady win the world series.

Fair play lad. I did 6 laps in a day once and that was more than enough! Great effort!

Very few. Not enough snow. Global warming has reduced days with snowfall in Scotland by 25% since 1970's. There was almost no skiing at all last year at the ski resorts. We've got a cold and snowy period now but nothing like the winters in North America (I just moved back from New Hampshire, that's a legit winter!)

Slack Randoms: Brendan Fairclough's No Brakes Challenge, Skijoring, MX Island Hopping & More
I really don't understand the appeal of Cyclocross. Riding a road bike in grass, sand, mud and snow while wearing full roadie outfit in the winter while it's snowing. It's like taking all the worst parts of cycling and combining them into one activity.
