@Dario-DiGiulio: how about comparing it to the Evil E-Wrecktion, excuse me, the E-Pocalypse. I just rented one for my first eeb experience last weekend from the Evil Landing to keep up with my 20 year old on the Bham trails. I normally ride a Pivot Switchblade. It was perfect for what I wanted to do. It too, is a full-sized girl with long travel. All this talk about the Avinox motors, I don’t think I need that. I thought that if I were to get one that I’d love the Pivot Amp’d, but I’m never going to ride it on a high power level to want or need that much assistance . I was only on level 1-2, and finally 3 at the end of the day with the Shimano motor. Rode for 4.5 hours and 20+ miles with 4200 feet of climbing, and used half the battery. I was really surprised for it being a 50+ pound bike. I thought it still felt like an exercise bike, not an eeb. I even climbed with the motor off and it didn’t feel unlike a regular bike. Eebs aren’t my thing yet, but I appreciate what they do, now more so that I did before. I didn’t want it to feel like my moto.

I never get arm pump on MTB, but I’m a 2 lap chump on a moto! I like to get a good start and try to run as fast I can before arm pump comes on, then I casually work my way to the back of the pack!

Or a trail dog. There is so much divide and zero respect for people that “don’t align” with others mindsets that this is what they resort to? It’s a shame. We’re all in this together, even if we have differences in opinion. Should be able to figure out who bought them online or made them locally. Not many places that can crank them out. Or if they were bought online should be able to source out who they went to with little detective work.

I’m going to post this again: How about a weekly “Where Are They Now?” article featuring all our riding heroes from the past? How cool would that be? Start with Greg “Hairball” Herbold, track down Super T, Libor Karas, basically anybody from these influential video tapes. I don’t think anybody would be against that idea. For the amount of props that these throw back articles get, this needs to happen!

@sfarnum: Big Sky, MT if the resort was better to work with. They have the terrain and facilities, just nobody that wants to work with any promoters for races from what I hear. No more Big Sky stops for the Montana enduro series or the Big Mountain Enduro series.
