Salutations fellow bicycle enthusiast, I'm looking to unload my 2018 Rocky Mountain Instinct BC Edition. Size XL. The bike has treated me well these past two summers alas, it's time for her to move on. I live and work in Sun Peaks as a bike mechanic and as such, it has seen some bike park use but I would say it's been used primarily as a trail bike. It has been maintained exceptionally well and is in awesome shape. Details regarding the geometry and build spec can be found by following the link below. https://www.bikes.com/en/bikes/instinct-bc-edition/2018 I swapped out a bunch of parts immediately after purchasing it and the OEM parts have now found their way back on the bike. The brakes, handlebar, grips, stem, saddle and tires are all original and unused. I've laid out other details regarding the bike in point form below: - The bike saw it's last ride in October 2019. Since then it has been in storage and rebuilt almost in it's entirety. - Fork serviced (damper and air spring) in September 2019. I performed a lower service yesterday so there is some fresh oil in there for your first ride. - Shock serviced (oil and seals) in August 2019. - Front and rear rotors replaced in September 2019 - The brakes have both been bled and have new Metallic pads in them. - The chain is brand new. Eagle GX. - Front and rear wheels have been checked over, trued and spokes tensioned where necessary. - New shift cable and derailleur tune. - The entire frame has been stripped down, inspected, cleaned and reassembled. All pivot bearings have been cleaned and re-greased. - Headset has been cleaned and re-greased. Ultimately, the bike looks pretty good. That said, there are a few minor details that indicate that it is a used bike. They are almost exclusively cosmetic but I thought I would list them below so there aren't any surprises in the event you purchase the bike. - Minor wear on the cranks from pedalling - Minor wear on the drive-side seatstay from pedalling - The rear wheel has 2 minor dents in it. I managed to obtain these early on and the rim has held up since then. It remains true. I ran tubeless with zero issues for two summers. It is currently set up with tubes for sale. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out. Good luck out there.
