Definitely wait and see...but this is the most interesting thing I've seen in a while. LOVE the thinking outside the box.

Industry Nine Releases New Premium Carbon Wheelsets
@YakuT: not sure why downvoted (then followed by a bunch of negative comments about their hubs…but whatever). Anyways… first, when working I LOVE the wheels: they’re light, spin up fast, and hold speed; also: they look fantastic. However, I think threading the spoke into the hub is a flawed design. I’ve broke 3 spokes in about 1.5yrs. Each time, the spoke broke at the hub (where it screws in). This essentially ends your ride. With a “normal” spoke, you take it out of your pack, install it, and continue riding. With these, I had to get to a shop (or my basement), extract to AL spoke head (which is very soft), and then replace the spoke. This is impossible to do trailside. The other downside is that it’s not super easy to get the spokes. Go into any LBS and they’ll have appx 1 billion j-bend and straight pull DT Swiss and/or Sapim spokes…but lots won’t have these. And, you can’t just pop on I9’s website and get spares. You do get a couple when you purchase the wheels, but once they’re gone: good luck to you. Why don’t they just sell a “variety pack” of 10 colored spokes right on the website??? The last time I replaced a spoke, I was without the wheel for 3 weeks. If these were “traditional” spokes/interface, I’d likely recommend them 10/10, but the way they are designed causes major headaches when something does go wrong.
