The Araxy Erion is a Magnetic Chain Damper That Lives On Your Chainstay
well, 4 bar can be designed in such way that almost no chain-slap even on 10 cog, Norco did this years ago instead of straight line chainlink goes down, so technically drive side chain stay seats lower, so that upper chain oscillations does not touch it.

why would someone need a motor or regular frame or gearbox swap? cost wise it won't be any beneficial then buying new bike / frame-set that have desired capabilities.

Trek Isn't Hiding Their 32" Cross-Country Bikes
10 year ago we did not have light enough tire wheel combo paired with soft tail carbon frame to roll on 30,5/32 chassis.
The same was applicable about 29 20 years ago.
I have commuter bike 30 years ago on 29 wheel and was riding it just fine as a kid
