Pinkbike Poll: What Made You Stop Caring About Enduro?

this. stages are too long for a TV camera to realistically cover. even when you watch the highlights, its just some really great rider ripping in the woods, but you dont have any sense of how well theyre doing until the stage is over, and even then, you only get to see a small % of the race. it just doesnt lend itself to watching, although if youre gonna race, its probably the best style of racing there is. climbing in remote areas to get to big burly downhills? really the epitome of mountain biking, but it sucks to watch

Commenting on World Cup DH Commentary, Specialized's New Demo, & The DH Bar End Trend

@grnmachine02: I dont mind the lead commentator interrupting the color analyst if something exciting/interesting is happening. but he interrupts the color guy all the time for no reason, like "and Rider X is 1.5 seconds back at the 2nd split here at the Valnord Pal-Arinsal Andorra UCI downhill round 3!!! " No one needs the commentator to let us know that the guy currently on track is having a relatively unremarkable run.

So, what Is the deal with why Ric is so obsessed with saying the entire name of the DH venue every. single. time? Literally no one else says "Loudenvielle Peyragudes", and he says it 100 times a race. Is he just sucking up to the sponsor? Has WB told him he has to do it? Its so awkward
